Hurry Up Harry

Come on! The collective cry from those involved with the new Harry Pick OMS 2000M at Gurston Down Hillclimb this weekend, where the car debuted.

This ex-Trevor Willis/Simon Andrews & Bernie Kevill 2000M has been refreshed with a red powder coated chassis and new carbon fibre bodywork throughout. Other improvements to the ever popular OMS 2000M model include a longer chassis to accommodate taller drivers, aerofoils as seen on the OMS 28's and a running weight of under 300 kg. Harry's car runs with a 1000cc Suzuki GSXR K8 engine.

The car ran faultlessly all weekend, completing four practice and two timed runs. Harry only collected the car from the OMS workshop on Wednesday evening before travelling to Gurston on the Friday, so there wasn't any opportunity to go testing.

On this first visit to Gurston with the car, Harry set a personal best time of 31.69s A very promising start to his 2016 season with the 2000M.
